Jonathan, I just wanted to get a thank you out to you. During the time that I was shopping for diamonds for my soon to be fiancée & I went looking at a lot of places. I wanted everything to be right for the perfect girl. Everybody has there own idea as to what is important in a diamond. You made things a lot easier for me with your book, website, and expertise as a gemologist. Your honesty and the fact that you have had no consumer complaints is what lead me to purchase my diamond from you. Hopefully you are not upset about me calling consumer affairs but it was part of the comfort factor in spending a lot of money on something I really did not know much about. Even after purchasing the diamond I went to an independent appraiser. Again, this is not because I did not trust you but because I wanted to make sure everything was "kosher." Well, to my delight everything (carat, cut, clarity, color) was exactly and could have been rated better than you had said. I did not reveal to this independent appraiser anything about where I had purchased the diamond until he was all done with his work. After his completion I had told him where I had got it and this appraiser could not have said enough great things about you. Well, needless to say you have done a great job and Thanks again. Not only do I think you are a wonderful gemologist but you have the utmost respect from your peers who really know the business.
