I can't say enough good things about the team at Good Old Gold.  Being originally from , I really had my heart set on a Canadian diamond.  I had been on Good Old Gold's website many times, and had come across only one Canadian diamond in their inventory; I decided to send an email anyway to inquire.  Tim within the span of a week had tracked down a Canadian supplier, and was sending me plenty of information about candidate stones rapid-fire.  He graciously fielded a ton of my questions as I sifted through all of the information he was sending me.  That's a HUGE aspect to Good Old Gold's service - they really give it their all so that you can have all of the cutting-edge specifications and documentation on their diamonds (Helium, etc).  

When it came down to two candidate stones, the time was right to come in for a visit to their store.  Everyone was so friendly, and Tim really took his time to allow me to compare the two stones, alongside others in his supply.  By the time all was said and done, I had "THE" stone picked out.  No worries, and no pressure - just a very strong positive feeling that I was dealing with a great company and great people, and that I was getting a great deal on a kick-a$$ diamond.  When I received the mounted stone, it was amazing!  And honestly, the ring floored my fiancée; she loves it, and gets a ton of compliments on it.  The quality of the diamond and how masterfully it plays with light really make it a stunner.

Even months after the purchase I'm bombarding Jonathan with questions - he is absolutely great!  Quick to respond, and really takes the time to give detailed answers to my queries - it's just so easy to see that he loves what he does.  Post-purchase service at Good Old Gold, simply put, is as great as pre-purchase service. No two ways about it!  These people are a class act.

Hats off to Jonathan, Tim, Christen and all of the team at Good Old Gold.  Easygoing, friendly, bend-over-backwards-helpful and knowledgable to boot!  I can truly say that they have made the entire experience of getting "THE" engagement ring a pleasure.  And Good Old Gold will definitely be "THE" place that I will be getting other jewelry in the future!
