Hi Tim and Jonathan,
I wanted to send you both a special thank you for all of your hard work.
What you guys do to educate and help out is truly unbelievable. In this day where it seems nobody wants to be responsible you guys go way beyond. Not only do you take the time to educate, but you make sure we are comfortable with what we are doing. You never force a decision, but always offer information when requested, and always offer to help in any way you can.
To make a purchase like this is hard for many people. There are many of us who do not make lots of money, and to purchase something of this magnitude the decision does not come easily. When I had questions about brilliance, and cut (not necessarily shape) you guys went way beyond!!
To go out of your way and to make a special video to allow me to better understand scintillation and brilliance, and the intricacies of cut...what can I say you floored me with this effort. You guys go way above and beyond anyone, and words alone can not distinguish you from the rest. You are light years ahead of anyone I have ever dealt with when it comes to purchasing a diamond. When I needed the ring here quickly you went overboard and put a rush on it, and delivered on time without even missing a beat. Again, I truly cannot put into words how impressed I am with your professionalism and courtesy.
I did want to let you know the reaction to the ring, and a quick story of how I gave it to her...
Well I received the ring first thing Saturday (again not many people would have delivered on a Saturday), and when I say first thing I mean I got it at about 8:30am. Well that was great...it gave me a chance to show it off a little bit before going over to meet her at 12:30pm. What I decided to do was to take the ring out of the box and put the jewelers loop you sent with the ring into the box. I put the actual ring in the pouch pocket in my sweatshirt. I placed the box on the passenger seat in my truck. When we met I got out of the truck to give her a hug and a kiss and then walked her around to the passenger seat. She was a little suspicious when I did that...she was like what are you doing, and I just said I thought I would get the door for you. When I opened the door she stepped up on the running board to get in and saw the box...she turned to me and just started jumping up and down...I asked her to go ahead and open it. Of course when she did she saw the jewelers loop and had a rather quizzical look on her face. I got down on my knee and pulled out the ring, and said she needed the loop so she can look at this...and with that I proposed to her.
Her reaction to the ring was priceless!! Still is for that matter...I still catch her staring at it, or moving it to watch it sparkle. She and I both are VERY impressed with the diamond. It has everything I asked you for...it has the WOW factor. Just the other day she was standing out at the bus stop, when another mother grabbed her hand and absolutely went bonkers over the ring. The cut the brilliance...everything...actually said to her and I quote..."You know what this woman at work would call that? Now that is a doorknob.
Thought it was pretty funny...never heard that expression before and probably am dating myself when I say I remember those glass doorknobs at my grandmothers house.
Again, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all that you did. The two of you were quite simply awesome, and have made two people very happy! If I ever run into anybody looking to purchase a diamond I know exactly who they should talk to...it would be the people at Good Old Gold...you guys are the BEST!
Thanks!
Sincerely,
Todd Bolton
